To Be a Christian Steward

Why I contribute to the CFA….With one pledge and donation, I can support a range of Catholic ministries and outreach programs, including Catholic Education, Faith Formation and Evangelization. The CFA also supports a Peace & Social Justice Office and a Respect Life Office, which promote Catholic values for public policies and legislation.

Thank you  for your pledges and contributions that support ministries in our ten-county diocese.

A Summary of the U.S. Bishops’ Pastoral Letter on Stewardship

 “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace” (1 Pt 4:10).

What identifies a steward? Safeguarding material and human resources and using them responsibly are one answer; so is generous giving of time, talent, and treasure.  But being a Christian steward means more.
